While the design trends are always interesting and fun to follow, a good rule of thumb is to buy quality pieces that will stand the design test of time and to allow trends and fads to be implemented in paint colors and accessories, unless there’s a piece you fall in love with. Ask any real estate agent who has tried to sell a house with avocado green sinks and orange countertops and they will advise be cautious when making big changes with trends.
